In partnership with Focus Forward For Indigenous Youth, the Enaadmaagehjik- Wikwemikong Development Commission and the Wikwemikong Board of Education, No.9 ran their ‘Imagining My Sustainable Community’ program with students from the Wikwemikong community in the summer of 2018. Taking a break from the Greenhouse for Change project, which allowed students to learn hands-on skills while constructing a greenhouse on their school property, students imagined, designed and constructed 3D digital models of sustainable projects they wanted to see within their community. This four day workshop allowed students to thoughtfully think about the needs of their own community while learning a digital skillset to express their ideas.

Beginning a dialogue with the Wikwemikong community, No.9 has felt grateful and humbled to have been able to share skills and knowledge through this project.
