Continuing our mission to bring awareness to environmental concerns through innovative arts and education programs, No.9 Contemporary Art & the Environment is hosting a fundraising exhibition of fine art photography by internationally recognized documentary photographers James Balog, Cristina Mittermeier, Gustavo Jononovich and Jorge Uzon. Originally showcased in our Water’s Edge exhibition installed at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport and Union Station during last summer’s Pan Am Games, this exhibition of powerful and compelling photographs highlight “the tenuous balance where human civilization, land and water meet.”
The exhibition is open each weekend in June from 10am to 2pm at Evergreen Brick Works, south side of building 1, in our shipping container pop-up gallery. Proceeds from this art sale fundraiser will assist No.9 in maintaining its groundbreaking initiatives with the goal of promoting a sustainable future.
