Outdoor Explorations in Art and the Environment at the Lower Don River

In conjunction with BGL: Project for Don River, No.9 hosted a series of art and ecology field trips to the Lower Don River, integrating visual art, environmental issues, science and social history. During their visit to the site, students discovered and discussed BGL’s sculptural project, explored the natural and social history of the Lower Don and found out how our everyday actions affect the health of the river. In response the students created their own sculptures out of clay by the banks of the river.
