SAB MEYNERT
Sab Meynert is an artist and writer currently based in the GTA, whose work has been recognized as a melodic counterpoint to the independent arts & publishing sectors. Her work spins poetic imagery and text to weave maps of visceral emotions and the multiformity of life's infinitely unfolding nature.
Artist Statement
The schema of a green building is rooted in the way its structure corresponds to the infinite cycles of energy, cycling through from different sources to create more sustainable futures. The iconographic elements in circular patterns spin & pulse vibrantly through the stable lines of buildings that hold ground for them, signifying the eternal romance of organic energy and material life - refracting, rupturing, and redefining itself in pockets and across space. We see inevitable growth manifested in flowers and foliage, as new life will always find its joyous expression threaded through the harmony we create and the spaces we call home.
